A Little Bit About Me
As salaamu alikaum believing sister: I am a healthy, believing african american american descendant of slaves. I hale from the west coast, but now reside in massachusetts. I am a hajji of the hajj 2000 group and am highly anticipating a successful ramadhan, inshallah for myself and all of the muslims everywhere. It has been reported as sahih by both muslim and bukhari that our holy nabi(pbuh) that;"a person chooses a mate based on one of four things; beauty,wealth,linage and din, and the best criterion is din". When on the plain of arafat in hajj 1420ah I made dua to our Lord to grant unto me three things, one was an accepted hajj, one was a wife who would be the comfort to my eyes, a helper in my din and me a helper in her's and blessed wealth. I must admit, I have not realized the vastness of wealth(in material terms) nor am I currently enjoying the companionship of a wife, but I have not become remiss of the favor of my Lord. If you seek the completion of your din and have not been "seduced by the allurements of the haya tul dunya, please introduce yourself. your brother in Islam.

what I seek is a believing woman whose heart trembles for fear or the displeasure of her Lord. A sister, a friend, a confidant, a partner who will walk side-by-side with me both literally and figuratively.
